Reflexology for Fertility and Pregnancy
Reflexology has been used to help women with fertility issues and throughout pregnancy. It is a safe treatment that can bring benefits to mother and child.
During pregnancy- problems of nausea, aches and pains and constipation may be helped by having regular sessions of reflexology.
Labour- if nothing is happening by the due date reflexology may be able to help encourage labour.
Post natal- reflexology may help to bring you back to balance, not only physically but also emotionally.
Clients testimonials
"The result of Sonia's treatments is our gorgeous Baby Boy. Reflexology helped regulate my periods after a miscarriage which resulted in pregnancy the following month. It was an amazing surprise. Forty weeks later when my baby was overdue, Sonia and her caring techniques relaxed me and encouraged the baby to appear! She is a wonderful therapist. Highly recommended."

"I have been seeing Sonia Campos for reflexology treatments since May 2008. I first went to Sonia when I found out I was pregnant as I had heard that reflexology was good for pregnancy. I found the treatments very relaxing and towards the end of my pregnancy I would always look forward to my sessions with Sonia as it was one of the only times I could feel totally relaxed, as a lot of the time I would feel quite uncomfortable due to my bump getting much bigger. I had problems with my right hip during pregnancy, but found that the reflexology really helped this.
After I had my baby I decided to carry on seeing Sonia as I enjoy the relaxing treatments so much. Another benefit I found was that reflexology really helped with digestion problems I was having.
I would definitely recommend reflexology with Sonia, as I find that she has a great way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed and whenever we finish a session she always knows if I have been having any problems, for example with stress, muscular aches and pains, or any internal issues, and she is always right!"

“I was very lucky to find Sonia at a time when I needed to achieve a positive balance for my body. Sonia’s approach to reflexology is very warm and intuitive and I feel she helped me get to a positive state of health that could sustain a pregnancy. On the occasions that things didn’t work out she helped me rebuild my strength both physically and mentally so that when I finally did fall pregnant I was in a very positive frame of mind and body.
I do feel that being relaxed and in harmony with my body helped enormously in this journey and Sonia was extremely supportive through out. I am very lucky to now have two beautiful little babies and look forward to having time with Sonia again (if they will let me).”

“I began having reflexology with Sonia in my first pregnancy to try to help alleviate the increase in migraines I was experiencing. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did my migraines ease off dramatically, but also the reflexology really seemed to help ease a lot of the other side effects of pregnancy, e.g. constipation, swollen feet etc. Having an hour every couple of weeks out of my busy work/life schedule just to relax and concentrate on my body and my baby helped me focus on my changing body and growing baby. I was very relaxed throughout my pregnancy and looked forward to giving birth, I was not fearful about giving birth.
When I was pregnant with my second baby I again chose to have reflexology as it helped me so much during my first pregnancy. This time, along with the more usual side effects of pregnancy I suffered sciatica, which was really helped by the reflexology.
Both my labours were very quick (5&3 hrs) and I do wonder if the reflexology played a part in this as I know a study was found that women who have regular reflexology during pregnancy tend to have shorter labours than women who don’t.”
